Political Journey

  1. Botcha Satyanarayana entered into politics with the Indian National Congress Party
  2. He was elected as student Leader in Maharaja College from 1978-1980
  3. He worked as vizianagaram DCCB chairman from 1992-1999
  4. He served as Chairman of District Co-Operative Bank, Vizianagaram
  5. He was appointed as Lok Sabha member from Bobbili Constituency from 1999- 2004 from INC Party.
  6. Botcha served as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) & Minister of Housing Weaker Section Housing Programme & Co-operative Housing Societies Federation A.P & Housing Board from 2004-2009 in YSR Cabinet.
  7. Botcha served as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) for Cheepurupalli Constituency in 2009 from YSRCP Party.
  8. From 2009-2011, He worked as Minister of Panchayati Raj in the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
  9. Botcha worked as Minister of Transport under the Government of Andhra Pradesh from 2011-2014.
  10. Botcha served as president of Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee(APCC) in 2013.
  11. Botcha Satyanarayana left Indian National Congress and Joined into Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party(YSRCP) on June 7th, 2015 along with his family and supporters.  
  12. June 8th, 2019 – Botcha Satyanarayana Elected as Member of Legislative Assembly(MLA) & Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development from Cheepurupalli Constituency from YSRCP Party.  
  13.  He was married to Botsa Jhansi Lakshmi who was elected as a Lok Sabha representative from Bobbili constituency in 2006.
